2008 Andrew J. Zabierek
Scholarship for Massachusetts Veterans
The Andrew J. Zabierek Foundation is currently
taking applications for two $1500 scholarships. If
you are an honorably discharged veteran and
a Massachusetts resident pursuing your undergraduate or
technical degree, you are eligible for this award.
The application period ends: 1 September 2008 and decisions
will be announced by the end of September.

Need a copy of Military
Records? Most Massachusetts
Veterans can get their discharge records from this
office. To obtain a copy of Military Records from the
National Personnel Records Center, you can now make
the request online or get the required
application at this office.
Welcome Home Bonus
If you served
during wartime, you should apply for a one-time
bonus. Veterans with active
service in Afghanistan or Iraq are entitled to a $1000
bonus. GWOT Veterans in CONUS or other parts of the
world eligible for $500. Contact Veterans' Services
for the application or visit the State
Treasurers website for more info.
It is
never too late to apply for your bonus, no matter what
wartime era you served!

Project seeks to assist those men and women of our armed
forces who have been severely injured during the conflicts
in Iraq, Afghanistan, and elsewhere around the
